acharya devo bhava

He is someone who guides us in this maze,
He is somene who shows the correct path in this dark world,
He is someone who teaches the most adorable and valuable things in life,
He is someone who quenches our thirst of knowledge,
He is someone who loves you so much that a small mistake by you will raise his temper,
He is someone who provides the warmth by his presense,
He is someone who congratulates on your success and confronts on your failure,
He is someone who lifts your spirits when you are down,
......................................................................,
......................................................................,
......................................................................,

He is the teacher.

"GURUH BRAHMA GURUH VISHNU GURUDEVO MAHESHVARAH,
GURUH SAKSHAH PARABRAHMA TASMAISREE GURAVENAMAH".

Well the above verses say that, a teacher is god, worshipping the teacher is equal to worshipping god.

Today's generation has a different opinion regarding teacher.

For them teacher is someone who "entertains" them in a class.

They forget or they dont realise the fact that teacher is someone who "enlightens" and "empowers"them.

It is somewhat true that some of the teachers now-a-days lack enthusiasm, energy and good command over their subject as well as english.

My uncle shunned away a job in ONGC since, he felt that he could do justice to the knowledge he had attained by spreading it,hence teaching ,my dad whose life ambition was to become an english lecturer.

Such specimens you dont find now ,thanks to our corporate jobs,B.P.O'S,and callcenter's.

"S.Radhakrishnan, was teaching at B.H.U,when the news came that he was elected the president. He callled a tonga ,to depart, his students actually pulled the tonga themselves all the way from B.H.U to university".

He is the teacher and those were his students.

What we find in our society in contrary.we find scores of movies where teachers are shown in a degrading and derrogatory manner.

To observe the fact that the relationship between a student and teacher lasts only in the class is very disturbing.

This piece of nonsense,is to remind the students that without the master there cannot be a student, this statement is" bi-conditional".
